Hannah Schmidt graduated from the University of Oregon in June of 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a double minor in Public Policy, Planning, and Management; and Ethics.

During the winter and spring term of her senior year, Hannah collaborated with a group of six female students to create an environmental education curriculum for 4th grade students at Adams Elementary School in Eugene, Oregon. |
|
The curriculum was place-based at Mt. Pisgah Arboretum and focused on elements of riparian habitats, incorporating elements of water quality testing, and external and internal organism characteristics. When she wasn't writing curriculum, Hannah was out in the field leading in-class and field trip lessons for kindergarten through 4th grade students.
